The Alumination 1 gunmetal convinces with the super light aluminium from which the frame is made. When the Alumination is not being made from aluminium, it is used to build aeroplanes. This is where the robustness and low weight of the frame comes from. The double spring hinge also contributes to this, so that the temples do not break off quickly. The glasses offer a very high level of comfort due to the adjustable, rubberised nose pads.
The sunglasses have polarised lenses to reduce glare from the wet road or water in general.
